My field is such that, I have opportunities to attend (or rather I should say “VISIT”) a lot of places. During my residency, attending these was more about fun than learning as it was a time that we could hang out with friends. But few years down the lane, when I started practicing, I realised what I had missed – the essence of “Learning while having fun”.

I was able to do two such travels this year – one abroad & one in India . One was a solo travel and the for the other, I traveled along with my friend. In both these situations, I had ample opportunities to meet new people, to see new things and to learn new things!

I know this blog is a ‘NON-DERMATOLOGICAL’ one from the reader’s point of view, but I would nevertheless like to put forth the following:

  • Never hesitate to ask – it does not matter to whom you are asking, I agree experience (in numbers) does matter but not always.
  • Always share – knowledge, laughter, food; these are meant to be shared.
  • Learn – every single day you live – whether small or big ; useful or not , you never know until you learn about something.. the end point is “YOU LEARN”.
